Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information giansanteconsulting.com collects, why, where it goes, and how to ask us to delete it. It covers this website. Work we do for clients under a signed agreement is governed by that agreement.

Who we are
This site is operated by Marco Giansante Consulting LLC, trading as MG Consulting, based in Westchester County, New York. If you have a question about this policy or about information we hold, email marco@giansanteconsulting.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. The consultation form on our contact page collects four things:
- Name and email address — both required, so we can reply.
- Company name — optional.
- Your message — whatever you choose to tell us.
We do not ask for your phone number, mailing address, or any payment information anywhere on this site. There are no user accounts and nothing is sold here.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and security providers record your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, and the time of each request. This is used to keep the site available and to detect abuse.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you want to go further, to discuss and deliver work.
- To keep the site secure and free of spam.
- To understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not add you to a mailing list because you used the contact form, and we do not run advertising or behavioural-tracking pixels on this site.
Where your information goes
We use a small number of third-party services to run this site. Each one receives some information, and each has its own privacy policy:

This site uses Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. It runs on every page, not only on the contact form.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or cross-site trackers. What is actually set:

You can clear or block these through your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you using the site, though the contact form's spam check may not work.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are kept in the site's database and in our email for 24 months, after which they are deleted unless you have become a client and we need them as part of our business records. Server and security logs are kept for a short period on a rolling basis by our host and by Cloudflare.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you,
- correct anything that is wrong,
- delete it.
Email marco@giansanteconsulting.com and we will action it within 30 days. There is no charge, and asking will not affect how we treat you. If you are a California resident, you have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them — and note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, sits behind Cloudflare, and is monitored by Sucuri. No website can promise perfect security, so please do not send anything sensitive — passwords, financial details, or confidential client material — through the contact form. If you need to share something confidential, email us and we will arrange a secure route.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. We do not email you about changes, so check back if it matters to you.
